Returns
Orders placed from 17th of November to 24th December 2024 will be eligible for an extended returns period of 60 days.
Purchases made online cannot be returned or exchanged in stores. All orders must be returned through the online process as below.
H&M are happy to refund within 30 days for any unsuitable items, provided they are unused with the original tags still attached and in the original packaging which must be in the original condition.
Pierced jewellery may not be returned. Gift cards and single use paper bags in store are non-refundable. Items purchased in store must be returned to store. Items purchased online cannot be returned in store. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Your refund will be issued in the form of original payment, such as the credit card used for the order. Shipping and handling costs are nonrefundable. H&M will deduct $10.95 from your refund for the use of our returns label if you are not an H&M member.
All of our orders contain a return form to use when you send items back. Please fill in the return form using the code that best explains the reason for your return, and place this, together with all items you wish to return in the original packaging your order arrived in.

Attach the included prepaid returns label to your parcel and return to your local Australia Post office.If you are missing the prepaid returns label you can register it online at the Australian Post website, all you need is your order number that you received together with your parcel.

If you have paid by credit or debit card, we will refund the balance to the card originally used.
If you have paid with PayPal, we will refund the balance to your PayPal account.

If you would like to return an item you purchased with Afterpay or Klarna, you can report the return at our respective partner's app or website.
Please note, if your Afterpay or Klarna order arrived in more than one parcel we recommend you to return the whole order in one parcel, including all return notes. This will be both easier for you and better for our environment.
As soon as your return is processed, you'll receive an updated statement from Afterpay or Klarna who will then take the remaining payments from your card, according to schedule.
If you've already paid for the returned items, Afterpay or Klarna will refund you on the card used for your purchase.

If you use the online return process for items purchased with a H&M Gift Card or H&M Merchandise Card, a H&M e-Merchandise Card will be will be issued to you as your refund. If you paid for your order with two different payment methods, you'll receive a refund on your second payment method first.
For example, if you paid for your order with a gift card and the remaining balance on a credit card, we will first refund you to the credit card. If the value of articles you returned exceed the amount paid with credit card, the rest will be refunded in the form of e-Merchandise Card.
The H&M e-Merchandise Card will be sent to you by email after the return is complete.
